On 4 December, the MULTIR project participated in the EU Cancer Mission Conference in Copenhagen, held under the framework of the EU Mission on Cancer.

The project was represented by Prof. Harald Mischak (MOS), who presented MULTIR’s work and its contribution to tackling the clinical challenge of variable patient responses to immunotherapy. His presentation emphasized the critical role of understanding tumour-host immune interactions in influencing treatment outcomes.

The conference gathered representatives from EU-funded projects, researchers, patient organisations, industry stakeholders, and EU policymakers to discuss current priorities and future directions in cancer research and innovation. Discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration, data integration, and translational research in advancing personalised cancer care in line with the objectives of the EU Mission on Cancer.

MULTIR’s participation fostered dialogue among Mission-funded initiatives and reinforced alignment with European efforts to improve cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment through research and innovation.
